Hi Devin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Classic Marble Restoration, Inc. (aka “Just Call Classic”) was established in 1997 by my father, Stephen Vance. I was asked to join in 2001, as the business was growing and expanding into the Superyacht and Commercial properties in the world, for their Marble and Natural Stone polishing and maintenance needs.
Shortly thereafter, we successfully gained additional global exposure by restoring the marble and stone surfaces in the Versace Mansion, in Miami Beach. This led to other landmark properties selecting Classic Marble Restoration for their Marble and Natural Stone’s restoration and polishing needs, such as the Fontainebleau of Miami Beach, the W Hotels, the Ritz Carlton, and the Four Seaons, among others.
During this time, more and more Superyachts had now found a home in Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Miami Beach for the Marble Polishing needs. We have even traveled to several other US states for yacht work, as well as the Bahamas and South America.
Classic Marble Restoration, aka “Just Call Classic,” has created a new standard in the Stone Restoration industry with the most effective and “green” marble polishing procedures, as well as the most effective and cost-efficient approaches for yearly maintenance. We restore and maintain all Natural stone surfaces, such as floors, countertops and bars, as well as showers and staircases. If the surface is comprised of marble, travertine, limestone, onyx, quartzite, and granite – we can assist and provide the most effective service, resulting in a better than new finish for your stones’ surfaces. We also provide Residential services too, and our home-base covers our main hub of Fort Lauderdale, FL, as far north as West Palm Beach, FL and as far south as Miami Beach, FL.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road for us. We pride ourselves in our attention to detail, customer service, and quality of work. This is not a job that is cut out for everyone, as it requires focus and precision, as well as the need to make technical adjustments during the polishing process. We have found that employee retention is our greatest asset. Amongst our team you will not only find several employees that have been with us since Day 1, over 25 years ago – but also family members of one another. I feel that our family-based mentality has driven our entire Team’s success to create our company’s brand, Classic Marble Restoration, aka “Just Call Classic,” which is a one of a kind marble polishing business.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am the 2nd generation-owner of my family’s Marble polishing business. Research and education sets us apart from the sea of our competition. While others are trying to capture multiple product lines and various trades’ services, Classic Marble Restoration, aka “Just Call Classic,” has solely focused on the world of Marble and Stone Polishing and Restoration.
