Devin, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My work ethic comes from my parents. They taught me that your name and reputation are everything, and if you’re going to do a job, you do it right. Those values have stayed with me throughout my career.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m the owner of Classic Marble Restoration, where we specialize in restoring and maintaining natural stone surfaces in luxury homes, yachts, and commercial spaces across South Florida. What’s most exciting to me is bringing stone back to life – taking something dull, etched, or worn and making it look beautiful again. After more than 30 years in the industry, our focus is still the same: high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and treating every client’s property with care.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three things that made the biggest difference for me were work ethic, attention to detail, and building strong relationships with clients. In a service business, your reputation is everything. For anyone starting out, focus on doing great work, be reliable, and treat every client like they’re your most important one because word of mouth travels fast.
